Maui's West Side
Maui's West side includes Kaanapali, Napili, and Kapalua. All of these areas make up one of the two most popular areas on Maui to stay in. There are countless hotels and resorts and several condo buildings with ocean views. The West side may be slightly cooler than the South side of Maui, with more frequent yet brief rain showers and a bit more wind. Rain showers = more rainbows!
Due to the August 2023 fires, the town of Lahaina, including Front St., is burnt and entirely inaccessible.
